Why am I doing this? After looking at so many lovely, fantastic, awesome images done by other people who are truly artists, here I am exhibiting my basic lack of artistic ability for all to see, by submitting art for display on my page. I must be trying to prove something to myself again.

I’ve often told other people that when it comes to freehand drawing, I’m next to hopeless… but give me a compass, ruler and protractor (and a really good eraser), and I can usually work up something. This is a remake of a design I did years—no, decades ago, in Geometry class. Back then it was done with the tools I just mentioned, but this version I did in MSPaint, mapping coordinates and using the circle and line-draw functions. I plan to convert it to 50x50 icon size, to become my icon/userpic/avatar/whatever they call it at DA.
